What the Bible Says about Giving?
Why use Online Giving?
What the Bible Says about Giving
The ultimate example of giving was set by God, as He sacrificially gave His own Son (John 3: 6).
In turn, His Son continued to be a giving example to us (Eph 5:2).
God’s word also teaches us that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord (James 1:17),
and so everything you are blessed with ultimately belongs to Him.
You are entrusted by God with stewardship over your finances, resources and time, and it is your responsibility as
believer to be a good steward and give back to God what is His through giving to the church and to others.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound
to every good work (2 Cor 9:8): Good stewardship over our financial resources involves the way we earn, spend, save,
invest and give.
We would like to provide our members a convenient way to give to the church that is also secure and easy, and so
we are pleased to offer online giving. There are several ways to give electronically online: automatic checking withdrawal,
debit cards and credit cards. This giving option has advantages, and we want each person who chooses this option to make
sure they are giving in a spirit that is pleasing to the Lord.
Through encryption technology, giving online is safe and secure. It is processed by the best e-security available.
You may deduct a specific dollar amount from a checking account or credit card, which may be a one-time gift.
Online giving allows you to minimize the number of checks written, posted, carried and managed.
With online giving, you will be helping the church to be a good steward over its finances, as more of your gift can be retained by the ministries of the church because this is the lowest cost method of processing.

Deacon is a role in the Christian Church that is generally associated with service of some kind, but which varies among theological and denominational traditions. In many traditions, the diaconate, the term for a deacon's office, is a clerical office; in others, it is for laity.
The word deacon is derived from the Greek word diakonos (διάκονος),[1] which is a standard ancient Greek word meaning "servant", "waiting-man," "minister" or "messenger."[2] One commonly promulgated speculation as to its etymology is that it literally means 'through the dust', referring to the dust raised by the busy servant or messenger.[3]
It is generally believed that the office of deacon originated in the selection of seven men, among them Stephen, to assist with the charitable work of the early church as recorded in Acts 6.[4][5] Deaconesses are mentioned by Pliny the Younger in a letter to Trajan dated c. 112. The exact relationship between Deacons and Deaconesses varies. In some traditions a deaconess is simply a female deacon; in others, deaconesses constitute a separate order; in others, the title "deaconess" is given to the wife of a deacon.
The word pastor usually refers to an ordained leader of a Christian congregation. When used as an ecclesial styling or title, this role may be abbreviated to "Pr.".
In some countries the term is used in relation to Protestant churches. It can also be used in reference to priests and bishops within the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox churches. The word itself is derived from the Latin word pastor which means "shepherd". The term "pastor" is also related to the role of elder within the New Testament, but is not synonymous with the biblical understanding of minister.
Present-day usage of the word is rooted in the Bible. The Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament) uses the Hebrew word רעה (roʿeh). It is mentioned 173 times and describes the feeding of sheep, as in Genesis 29:7, or the spiritual feeding of human beings, as in Jeremiah 3:15, "Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding" (NASB).
Christ's Charge to Peter by Raphael, 1515. In telling Peter to shepherd his sheep, Christ was appointing him as a pastor. In the New Testament, the Greek noun ποιμήν (poimēn) and verb ποιμαινω (poimaino) are usually translated shepherd or to shepherd. The two words are used a total of 29 times in the New Testament, most frequently referring to Jesus. For example, Jesus called himself the "Good Shepherd" in John 10:11. The same words are used in familiar Christmas story (Luke 2) referring to literal shepherds.

The Word says " My beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper, be of good health and your soul prospers. " (3rd John 2 ) God, who is love, desires those he love these blessings! As children of God, let us do the same in Jesus name. The Word also says "Do unto others, as you would have other do unto you."
Family is the foundation and also the core of TRUE HAPPINESS. Without family, there is no church, there is no progress and there is no love.
The family is like the human body, every single part is important. EVERY SINGLE PART, no matter what role they play is significant to the total body success. God intended for the body of Christ to realize that each person he created is an imprtant and influential aspect in the forward progress of the church. No one is excluded from the body, and when we all become one, NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO US.
With all my heart,
BISHOP AL B. SERMON

The Ministry started as a Bible study ministry of helps and outreach. The Fatherly Teaching & Training Came To Our Pastor Under The Great & Anointed Leadership of Dr. William L. Sheals of Hopewell Baptist Church, Norcross, Georgia. In 2001, God breathed and birthed in the heart of Pastor Sermon, the need to provide a loving environment where people are trained & taught to be not just members but disciples for Christ; to provide the City of Conyers and surrounding area with an inclusive Christ centric Ministry that effectively meets the needs of the family & the total person; to present the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in a Clear, contemporary and contextualized manner to all.
Yes, the Call came for a Servant-leader & teacher to a God-birth Church in the Conyers area, where it would be a family environment for all.
This church would be considered a hospital, where the lost can become disciples, new believers converted and those growing in the Word could come and learn the Word of God at their own level. This would be a place where the whole family can come and worship God together, exercise and play in an environment where they would find peace through the "Grace & Mercy of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ In Matthew 28:19,20 states, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
On September 1, 2001, the ministry went to another level, releasing its full potential by God birthing the Church into full function. On "Labor Day", a rainy holiday Sunday, our first Worship service began in Conyers, Ga. at a facility called Higher Praise on Hwy 138. 134 people attended service and 71 people joined as new members and were added to the ministry.
This was truly a blessing from the Lord that could have only come from God. As stated in Psalm 118:23, "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes." The next Sunday service, 49 people; the next Sunday, 19 people; and the fourth Sunday, another 15 came walking down the aisle of the sanctuary. The facility on 138 was a borrowed & Blessed space from a Pastor who graciously opened his doors to our ministry. We are truly thankful to him and his congregation; we give all the Glory to God.
We were not at this facility very long and moved to our next location on 1581 Lester Road. On pure faith, Pastor Sermon and Deacon Kemp went out looking and were led to this location by the guidance of the "Holy Spirit”. The owner of the space was on his way out of town for a month, and agreed to let the church come in and start working on the facility without a contract.
"God Is Good! As a result, for doing such an excellent job on renovating the facility, the building owner was impressed and blessed the church into a great lease.
After leaving 1581 Lester Road, we moved to 1419 Old McDonough Road, and then to 301 honey creek road (trinity baptist church), conyers, ga to the Hyatt Place Hotel and finally in our own location Wall Street Business suites off of Salem Rd Here in Conyers GA next to the QuickTrip Gastation. God continues to bless us physically and spiritually, with a whole lot of Souls saved and lives changed. God is adding to the Church daily. After seven and a half years, we have grown to over 300 in membership.
On August 29, 2010, the ministry went to another level with over 50 Pastors, 3 Bishops, and over 350 in attendance, Bishop William L Sheals consecrated Bishop Elect Pastor Al B Sermon to presiding Bishop. Bishop Sermon now presides over seven churches from Atlanta, Georgia to Dallas, Texas and the Chief Overseer of the W.W.O.W. Network.
